The questions and outcomes are structured in alignment with the Young People’s Financial Capability Outcomes Framework which was independently developed by EY for Kit and CommBank; the same research piece which guides the activities and lessons within the Kit App. Learn more about Our Approach here.
This Kit quiz takes the key elements of this framework and bottles them up into an actionable set of money conversations — pretty sweet we think. These are pivotal to help shape attitudes towards money, assess your child’s financial maturity and create teachable moments.

Instructions and details
Who’s it for?
It’s for you and your little grownup to complete together!
How long will it take?
This quiz will take 5-15 minutes. Hence why we recommend a side of chocolate to keep your stamina up!
What is it?
A quiz to help learn more about your kid's money style. How they think, act and feel about their money. This is important to help them figure out in which direction to grow. It's Easter themed but can be completed any time.
Is it fun?
Whether they might be experts or newbies to the world of money, this quiz will help you and them figure out where they are at. In any case, if your kid likes art and learning, we have a feeling they’ll like this quiz.
How do we do it?
Step 1: Together, work through each question and answer (as truthfully as possible) what your kid would most likely do in each scenario.
Step 2: Note down your answers on your phone (if you don’t have a printer) or on the quiz sheet. If they’re feeling creative, draw directly on to the blank Easter egg on the quiz.
Step 3: Tally up the answers and to see which Easter egg your kid has the most in common with.
Step 4: Talk through what each Easter egg means, and how it relates to their money personality.
Quiz outcomes & results
Read once you’ve completed the quiz.
All done? How did they go colouring in their Easter egg? Take a look at their answer tally and figure out which Easter egg theirs has the most in common with. For example, if they chose 8 Pink Hearts and 2 Green Flowers, they have the most in common with the ‘Pink Heart’ egg.
Their answers are likely not going to match up exactly to a single egg, and that’s because we can’t put your child, or their money personality, into a single box. Every Easter egg is unique, after all. Read the summaries for one (or two, or three, or four) Easter eggs that their design had the most in common with.
For each Easter egg, you’ll find a mini description, some key traits, and a few things they might look to improve on. Like decorating Easter eggs, your little grownup’s money style may resemble a collage that includes some of the best bits of each design for a well-rounded money personality.
